Are you overweight? Lookout. You’re going to be singled out under the federal government’s take-over of the nation’s health care system. Here’s how it works. Under a private health care system, your personal health is your business. You select your own doctors and medical solutions. With the new government health care for all system, the government takes control over your life and your decision making process. You become a ‘burden on society’ and that gives the government the right to add surcharges to your medical costs, order you into clinics for treatment, and raise your costs for foods the government deems fatty. For a historical perspective, look at how cigarette smokers are treated today.

The warnings have been posted for months and even years about the chilling effects on personal liberties that the US socialized medical program will impose. The easiest one to see is the continuing attacks on obesity that is supported by the mainstream mouthpiece White House puff piece media. Now that we’re all in this health care thing together, and medical coverage is paid for with your tax dollars, this is an opportunity to divide everyone up further. And a great excuse to separate another group from their money.

The mouthpiece media will continue to stoke the flames of hatred – now against the overweight. You’re being conditioned to look at fat people as a burden on society and an overweight cost to the taxpayer. Consider a story today in AOL.com. Germany is considering a tax on the obese. Why? Because their worker’s paradise socialist medical system is killing their national budget. It’s just human nature. When people don’t directly pay for something, they lose sight of costs and tend to overuse it.

“Marco Wanderwitz, a conservative member of parliament for the German state of Saxony, said it is unfair and unsustainable for the taxpayer to carry the entire cost of treating obesity-related illnesses in the public health system.”, according to AOL.com. So along with an additional tax on people they identify as ‘obese’, a whole host of foods will be identified as ‘fattening’ and be taxed accordingly. Who will define exactly what ‘obese’ is? Who will choose the ‘fattening foods’ to tax? Why government ‘experts’ of course.

In the same AOL.com report, “Others are suggesting even more extreme measures. The German teachers association recently called for school kids to be weighed each day, The Daily Telegraph said. The fat kids could then be reported to social services, who could send them to health clinics.”

Just think. You can send junior off to the local government school and while he or she won’t be able to read or write upon graduation, they’ll have units in sex education and best of all, if they’re fat, the school may turn you in to child protective services. Wow, I can’t wait for all this socialized medical to kick in!

All activity comes under the scrutiny of government health care watchdogs. Are you engaged in risky sports behavior that might cost the taxpayers if you get hurt? From AOL.com, “One should, as with tobacco, tax the purchase of unhealthy consumer goods at a higher rate and partly maintain the health system,” Wasem said, according to Germany’s English-language newspaper The Local. “That applies to alcohol, chocolate or risky sporting equipment such as hang-gliders.”

Here in the formerly free United States, federal government health care bureaucrats are busily setting up America’s own worker’s paradise health care system. Among the ‘improvements’, every single detail of your health history will go on a government database. 1984 anybody? For those educated in the government school system; 1984 written by George Orwell, was a fictional account of life under a totalitarian regime. Totalitarian such as communist and socialist. Imagine what the government could do with your health records. OK – don’t. You just go on trusting those good folks up there in Washington DC. They truly care!

What else might be in that good ole ‘just trying to help’ government database on your health? Why, your body mass index (BMI) of course. CNSNews.com reports “New federal regulations issued this week stipulate that the electronic health records–that all Americans are supposed to have by 2014 under the terms of the stimulus law that President Barack Obama signed last year–must record not only the traditional measures of height and weight, but also the Body Mass Index: a measure of obesity.” Obviously this will help the US government track obese people more closely and monitor for other ‘risky’ behavior that might ‘burden’ the health system.

The Wall Street Journal reported last year that the US government wants to slap “new federal taxes on soda and other sugary drinks to help pay for an overhaul of the nation’s health-care system.” In the same article, the WSJ reports, “The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a Washington-based watchdog group that pressures food companies to make healthier products, plans to propose a federal excise tax on soda, certain fruit drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks and ready-to-drink teas. It would not include most diet beverages. Excise taxes are levied on goods and manufacturers typically pass them on to consumers.”

Sweet. The government levies taxes on producers of drinks and snacks. The producers collect the taxes and hand them over to the government. The public blames the producers for high prices. The government comes out smelling like a rose after artificially raising prices on producer goods the way they do oil. It’s a beautiful thing!

So freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose. Because an ounce of freedom gained will be the equivalent of an ounce of weight lost in the new American socialist society. Bon appétit!

The US federal government is in the process of implementing a Cap and Trade scheme through its regulatory agency, the EPA. This despite the American people having largely discovered that Cap and Trade is based on the patently false theory that the earth is heating up due to CO2 and other emissions. Without getting into the extensive volume of evidence to the contrary, many scientists have proffered good scientific data that suggests man made emissions do not have the drastic effect on the earth’s climate as some have claimed. In fact, many scientists agree that even draconian cuts in emission levels worldwide would only reduce average world temperatures 1/10 of one degree.

Of course, the age of innocence is over when it comes to scientists anyway. How many of us believed the scientific community without question when they issued some momentous pronouncement? Why, they’re scientists – they must be right. When the global warming issue appeared along with dire predictions that the earth was heating up because of man made emissions, the future looked bleak. We would need to make major changes to our life styles, such as cutting back on heat, air conditioning, driving our cars – raising cows… exhaling.

But we were willing because we believed that the people telling us these things were scientists and were just doing what scientists do – look at facts and make predictions based on good scientific analysis. That was then – before the world discovered that the most prestigious group of global warming scientists were – lying. And lying big time. It was a huge scandal which led many countries to rethink their Cap and Trade programs.

In the meantime, the US federal government not one to let a great opportunity slip by, successfully led the charge to pass a Cap and Trade bill. Sadly for the schemers in Washington DC, the bill passed in the House but failed in the Senate. Originally, they desperately claimed it was to stop global warming. After the ClimateGate scandal, the White House switched  gears and announced it was to reduce dependence on foreign oil. So up steps the good old EPA. Always there for you – if of course you’re a government bureaucrat looking for new ways to generate additional taxes, fees, and restrictions on liberties. And they have decreed CO2 is now a hazardous greenhouse gas that must be regulated and taxed. Absurd? You bet.

Greenhouse gas climate change is a theory. Climatologists disagree on the extent of man made change to the earth’s climate. Some propose that natural events such as volcanos and sun-spots cause far greater climate change than anything done by man.

Since we’re dealing with theories and many divergent views on climate change, and since climate change due to emissions is such a controversial subject; does it really make sense to slap carbon taxes on electric utilities and other means of production in the U.S.? Sure, it does if you want to make America sharply less competitive and reduce the nation’s standard of living – for the commoners of course – not the Ruling Class sitting in Washington DC.

Cap and Trade taxes are the most destructive tax scheme ever devised by an increasingly hostile US federal government. Its been widely reported that carbon taxes will likely double electric rates, significantly increase the cost of gasoline, and natural gas. The ripple effect will have a chilling effect on the US economy. Nearly every good and service will be forced to raise prices to pass along these new taxes. Because you see, businesses don’t pay taxes – you do. Every new tax scheme dreamed up by the dead wood in Congress and the Senate is simply passed along to customers. It can’t be any other way.

And that’s the purpose of this letter to the CEO of Georgia Power and all other utility Officers and Directors. As electric rates skyrocket, ratepayers will blame the “greedy capitalists” running the utilities. Even if you place carbon taxes on ratepayers bills as a separate line item, most consumers will associate high utility bills with ‘greedy’ utility management. As carbon taxes really kick in, you’ll be faced with many unpleasant choices but let me suggest one that is very possible. As the public blames you for high utility rates, political pressure will build for the federal government to nationalize all electric utilities – because they’ll say, the people have a right to low electric rates. But first you will experience tremendous pressure to artificially lower rates by the White Knights in the White House to levels that eliminate profits that would normally be used for maintenance.

As the government artificially raises consumers’ costs for electricity and fuels, the money is funneled into green energy schemes that include among their shareholders such eco luminaries as Al Gore and John Kerry. You’ll want to buy any alternative energy product because the US federal government will make them seem like a bargain after they slam you with carbon taxes on electricity and fuel. And alternative energy schemes may be the only game in town. When the federal government is permitted to tamper with the nation’s electric supply, you can expect electric shortages along with high bills. Rolling electric cut-backs are already being forecast in Great Britain.

I call upon all Officers and Directors of the nation’s utilities to demand an end to all Cap and Trade schemes. In addition, I call upon the utilities to engage in a communications program to alert consumers to fight any and all Cap and Trade schemes. Coal which has been vilified by the Washington DC establishment is a valuable American resource and a great way to produce inexpensive electricity.

If you fail to do this, the US federal government will turn on the utilities and make them the perpetrators of high utility rates.

Cap and trade is a taxpayer financed war which pits the federal government against American business and utilities. Washington DC is taking money from every American at gunpoint, and using it to finance lunatic spending, taxing, and regulating schemes. It must be stopped and all responsible businesses must join together with the American people to end the madness.

They’re coming for your guns

The other day a tough old geezer said, “they ain’t takin my guns away – I can promise you that. It’ll be over my dead body…” And be assured I told him, it will. It will be over your dead body my friend.

Killing a few patriots is nothing for the leaders of the US federal government. Some people insist on taking that ‘whistling in the dark’ approach as if they could singlehandedly take on the dictators in the new US federal police state. Let me say right here and right now: They’re coming for your guns. Period.  Don’t make me say it a second time. If the dictators in the US federal government can pass a bill forcing you to purchase a good or service (think ObamaCare), then they can force anything on the American people. And that includes neutralizing the 2^nd Amendment.

A universal gun ban is one of Mr. Obama’s top priorities. Socialists and communists always take away the citizens guns because that’s how they maintain strict control over the population. When the law abiding citizens are disarmed, only the thugs in government and the thugs in the streets will have guns. This is fact – just look at Mexico. The purpose of the 2nd Amendment was to ensure that the people of the United States could rise up against a tyrannous government. It’s a lot harder for a people to dissent against an oppressor with all the guns. And of course that’s the goal of the US federal government.

HR 45 also known as Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009 would initiate a national licensing system for some guns. Let me stop here for a minute: once a framework for a national licensing bill is in place, renegade politicians can ‘modify’ the bill each year till owning a gun is so much of a chore that you voluntarily surrender your gun rights. You can see this in action with ObamaCare. Watch as Senators and Congressjerks work on ObamaCare till we have a complete government run system. The current system will by design, collapse and to resolve the ‘crisis’, the feds will step in and ‘rescue’ our health care system. That of course after they trashed it in the first place.

Gun ban Nazi’s will use the same successful template. First a series of crisis’s like the one that occurred in Australia. A group of tourists were gunned down by a deranged man and that gave the socialists in control of the government there, all they needed to institute an immediate gun ban. Who would have thought that Australia, a country that seemed to share American ideals of liberty and freedom, would voluntarily surrender their guns? But who would have thought they would permit Cap and Trade there either?

America needs a States’ Rights Governor in every state that will press back against an adventurous federal government. Alongside that Governor, we need a strong Constitutionalist Attorney General who has the backbone and the will to stand fast against a frighteningly bellicose group in Washington DC.  The last peaceful resolution to an out of control federal government is a strong State Government – one that turns away all unconstitutional bills, taxes, treaties, and wars foisted on it by the federal government. Every citizen deserves and indeed pays for; a State Government that stands in between the people and an over reaching group of elitists who have an agenda that’s as far from that of the Founding Fathers as earth is from Mars.

What will you do when they come for your guns? Why you’ll hand them over of course. That’s why you must stand up now and fight against the madness in Washington DC. Gone are the days when you can kick back and let someone else fight your battles. America is in the midst of a desperate conflict of ideology – socialism/communism vs. freedom and liberty. And socialism is winning. If you want life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for your children and grandchildren, you must stand up now and fight.

What does it mean to fight? You get out and vote. You join the Tea Party movement. You join Campaign for Liberty. You join the John Birch Society. You talk to your family. You talk to your friends. You get educated on the immense volume of legislation coming down from the Royalty sitting full time in Washington DC while you and I struggle to pay our bills.

One sure way to end the madness is to end the nutty idea of a full time Congress and Senate. Let those lazy slobs go out and get real jobs for a change. Aren’t you tired of paying for their largess in Washington? Aren’t you fed-up with their idea of a ‘Full-Time’ job where they spend their time thinking up new laws to restrict our liberties and new taxes to take from our hard earned paychecks? We can save a lot of money by cutting their hours by 75%. Then they’ll have less time to pass stupid new bills.

Remember, after the gun ban is passed, it’s too late.

NAACP – Big Mistake by Leadership

Foxnews.com reported today that the NAACP  issued a resolution to “repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties” and stand against the movement’s attempt to “push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.” But the NAACP couldn’t be farther from the truth about the Tea Party. And their foolish attack on a legitimate citizen advocacy group is going to hurt the NAACP.

The Tea Party movement is actually making an attempt to push our country back a bit further then the pre-civil rights era, which the ignorant leadership of the NAACP would have known if they had attended anything but the failed government school system in America. But since they along with the rest of us were ripped off by a pathetic excuse for an education system, they should be excused for not knowing that the Tea Party movement represents a return to Founding Fathers vision of a Constitutional Republic. They have nothing to do with racism.

The Tea Party is made up of real Americans – skin color is irrelevant – all colors are welcome. All you need is a desire to bring the country back to its Constitutional roots. The roots that Bush-Obama Inc. have been destroying for the past few decades. You see, the socialists in control of Washington DC have no boundaries when it comes to destroying the American experiment in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They’ll use any group that is convenient, to promote their destructive agenda. Dividing Americans using racism, class envy, hand-outs, and unconstitutional social activism are just a few of the new tools of the Establishment Washington DC monarchy.

NAACP leadership has evidently been compromised by agents who do the bidding of Washington DC insiders. They in tandem with their US federal government handlers, want to place their hob nailed boots on the necks of all Americans, and turn them into compliant serfs who support the federal government’s insurgency against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They apparently agree with the federal government’s forced health care system, bail-outs of banks and an insurance giant with your tax dollars, endless deficits and inflation, killing of young Americans of all color in undeclared wars – and continued assaults on our rights with Bush era laws like the Patriot Act.

But the NAACP should not be pointing fingers at anyone.

St. Louis Tea Party organizer Bill Hennessy hit the nail on the head as he stated, “When you look at the crime and poverty and family breakdown of the African-American community … you see a half-century of failure by the NAACP,” he wrote. “None of those persistent problems was caused by the Tea Party movement, yet the principles of the Tea Party are exactly what’s needed to wind down the multigenerational destruction in the African-American community. The NAACP was once a vital weapon in the war against segregation and oppression. All that’s left is a bigoted and malicious shell that does far more harm than good for people who need a break,”

50 years of failure. The NAACP should be ashamed of its record. If I were part of their leadership, I wouldn’t dare open my mouth. This will clearly come back to haunt the NAACP for years to come and only serves to further divide Americans. Of course, that’s why it was done in the first place.

Independence Day – Beer, Burgers, & BS?

A few years ago, a group of us were standing around at work discussing the upcoming 4^th of July weekend and our plans. The conversation drifted casually over to the meaning of ‘Independence Day’. One of us turned to a younger member of the group, a candidate for a Masters Degree and asked, “What does the 4^th of July stand for?” This individual, near to possessing a Masters Degree looked back with a blank stare.

I carefully scrutinized the look on this person’s face, expecting the joke to be on us – that we were going to hear a college level description of the events leading up to the United States becoming a free nation, unshackled from an oppressive government.

But it never happened.

Obviously smelling blood, the same person who asked the Masters Degree the original question, then inquired as to the meaning of the Civil War. Once again the blank stare. The Masters Degree was not a stupid person. Sadly, much of the blame rests squarely on the government education system in the US. As my wife is fond of saying, “the American education system is quite successful in achieving their goals – to produce uneducated students who are incapable of critical thinking…” This student along with countless others is easily manipulated and controlled by design.

There’s a video on YouTube that chronicles an interviewer as he asks people on the street about the meaning of Independence Day. Many of the people were clueless. They knew little or nothing about the events surrounding this important date in American history. Interestingly, two women with foreign accents appeared to know the basic details about the 4^th of July.

Early American Patriots had little patience for the taxes and regulations forced on them by the British government. The Colonies had no sitting Representatives in English Parliament. Taxes were levied without any discussion or concern about the effect on the Colonists. There were ‘status quo’ types then as there are now – people who just want everything to go on as usual. And then you had those who didn’t care – if there was a television in those days, these people would be watching it.

You also had the Tea Party people in those days. They clearly saw as written in the Declaration of Independence, “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In those days as today; arrogant, power hungry, government leaders trampled on the rights of the people and ridiculed ‘Tea Party’ types.

Is it any wonder that students of the US government school system are no longer taught American history? Consider this quote from the 1^st paragraph of the Declaration of Independence, “That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,  That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

These are dangerous words – dangerous to a government that wants to tax and control the C0₂ coming out of your mouth.

It’s critically important to the socialist-communists controlling the United States today, that all vestiges of American Founding Fathers influence and teachings be removed. Events leading up to Independence Day are too dangerous for free minds to meditate on. In fact, free minds are dangerous to this sitting government.

It’s obvious for any casual student of history that the Founding Fathers would never have put up with the actions of today’s tax, regulate, and war sponsoring government. As we celebrate 234 years of the American Experiment, the most unique form of government ever in history, we have to ask ourselves – what are we celebrating today?

Does independence Day celebrate welfare state? Nearly half of all Americans now draw a government check. Is that what the Founding Fathers meant by ‘independence’? We’ve handed over our personal decision making abilities on health care to a monolithic federal government that is infested with zero population growth mutants. Our currency is controlled by a private bank set up by the federal government. They can print and spend whatever they want – until our economy collapses.

Our farming industry is controlled by the federal government. They tell farmer s what they may grow and what they cannot. They are given taxpayer money to plow over fields and grow nothing. They are paid extra taxpayer money and then our valuable produce is placed in a storage bin to rot. Taxpayers fund American food programs all over the world – food given to people who hate America.

Americans are told what to drive, what to eat, where to go to school, who to like and dislike, and what values to exhibit. Religion like cigarettes is to be practiced at home and never brought out in public.

The federal government is scheming to outlaw all guns in violation of the 2^nd Amendment.

Manufacturing is under attack by our own federal government. Real jobs have been fleeing America for decades thanks to the policies of our government.

So how will you celebrate Independence Day today? Will it be beer, burgers, and brawling? Or will it be a time when you reflect on the gift our Founding Fathers gave us over two hundred years ago. Will you take a few minutes to teach your children today what it meant to be a Patriot during the Revolutionary War years? What true sacrifice meant? What Independence Day means today?

The socialist-communists in America today work 24/7 to bring down the American Experiment. That’s all they do. Now what will you do to stop it?
