Top 10 reasons you want socialized medicine

1. You love waiting on long lines for health care
2. You love the idea of the Government rationing your medical care
3. You want to let the Government tell you what’s best for you with your health
4. You like the idea of the Government telling you, you’ve lived long enough and you have cost the medical system enough. It’s time to let you die – Ted Kennedy or some other politician needs your organs
5. You like the idea of the Government telling you how many children you can have
6. You love abortion on demand and want to contribute your tax dollars to killing babies
7. You love paying big tax bills because you simply aren’t paying enough now
8. You’re not worried about the competency of Government doctors and the fact that many of them don’t speak english every well
9. You’re comfortable with politicians having their own special health care program which will be substantially better than the one the average American citizen will get.
10. You hate having to choose your own doctor, hospital, & medical plan. You believe the Government should choose it for you.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch. When socialized medicine becomes a reality in America, you will pay in ways you never dreamed and your life will change forever.

Socialized medicine is another program designed by social engineers to create a socialist, planned society. More people will die- their plan is not to create a good health plan but to eliminate more people.

Shouldn’t Obama Be Fired Too?

President Obama recently terminated Rick Wagoner, CEO of General Motors. Now, Wagoner may have deserved punitive action for his failure to lead the giant auto maker through the latest government created financial crisis. But did he really deserve to lose his job? If so, why not apply the same logic and get rid of Obama too?

Look at the federal government’s actions for 1st quarter 2009. Their $3.6 trillion budget plan projects a deficit of $1.4 trillion for fiscal 2010 and $3.95 trillion from 2010 to 2014. Incredibly, the Office of Management and Budget titles the bloated spendapalooza, “A new era of responsibility”. Billions of taxdollars have been handed over to private banks and AIG. Billions more were given to automakers. Billions are in the budget for new government programs. In the midst of this orgy of spending, Obama and his merry band of socialists are busy trashing American business as the ‘cause’ of all our economic troubles.

And don’t you love Obama playing the big shot President of the United States? It’s like something out of a fantasy socialist reality TV show. Here he is ‘firing’ the CEO of GM. A CEO who spent a lifetime of creating real jobs and real value for shareholders. What has Obama done to deserve to tell GM how to run its finances? Let’s see. He spent 20 years walking the Chicago slums creating unrest as a “Community Organizer”. And he taught a bit on the Constitution. (On how the Constitution is a flawed document). Business experience? Uh- anybody got anything? Oh yeah – he was a lawyer for awhile.

But back to GM. They made a deal with the devil – the US government. Now they are paying the price. This is what happens when you do business with the US government. Don’t forget however that GM created hundreds of thousands of jobs. They sold millions of cars. They endured endless government meddling, regulations, and taxes. Foreign competitors hacked away at their market share. Through all this, they managed to make payroll and until recently, a profit.

Our federal government on the other hand, never has to worry about pesky profits or where they’ll get the money to float their endless spending programs. First, they have the military. So when they demand that you pay up – you pay up or else. Another special resource at government disposal is the private Federal Reserve. It’s like having your own money machine right in your basement. But you can’t have one – it’s only available to huge spending profligates like the current Keynesians taking up space in the White House. When they promise you a huge free program like health care – why they simply print more money to pay for it. Or they suck the taxpayer dry like a spider on a fly.

If the federal government had to conform to regular accounting principles like the businesses they publicly trash, they would be bankrupt. Compare the finances of the US government to those of GM. If GM CEO Wagoner needed to go, so does Obama. He’s no better.

Report from the Tea Party 2009

White supremacists. Right wing extremists. That’s who the Mainstream Mouthpiece Media said would be attending the Tea Party Rallies held nationwide in many major cities. I had to see for myself. So, strictly for professional reasons of course, I attended the Tea Party in Atlanta on April 15 as an unofficial roving reporter for the local newspaper.

The Atlanta Tea Party was much bigger and more inspiring than I imagined on my way there. Luminaries such as gubernatorial candidate John Oxendine took the stage followed later by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Radio personalities Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, and others appeared with local State Senators and Representatives.  Ray McBerry a candidate for Governor was there to introduce himself to an enthusiastic crowd – but off to one side. Oddly, he was never invited on stage even though he has long been a supporter of lowering taxes and reducing federal government interference in Georgia state affairs. In fact, he is also a strong states rights advocate.

But the real story was about the people themselves as 15,000 black, white, red, & yellow skinned Americans applauded and cheered as each new speaker exhorted the crowd to stay together and work to end the oppressive cycle of ever increasing taxes and regulations. Men in expensive suits stood next to biker types. One man sported a curious collection of silver studs in his ears and a diverse collection of tattoos. He whooped and hollered at chants of ‘USA’ and ‘Don’t tread on me’. An Hispanic lady with her 2 young children stood politely but attentively in front of me while an African-American couple cheered off to my left. Rich and poor, black and white, old and young, male and female – they all got up off their easy chairs and made the trip to Atlanta to be heard. Their message – we’re tired of government taking our liberties and forcing oppressive taxation on us. We’re fed up with government deficit spending that will leave our children and grandchildren in huge debt.

There were signs as far as the eye could see. Some were basic: “Cut Taxes”, “Fair Tax” (I still don’t get that one – is there such a thing as a fair tax?), “Term Limits” and “You can’t spend your way out of debt”. A few brave folks carried signs that said, “Abolish the IRS”. You saw the predictable, “Keep your change, Obama”. Then there were the humorous. “No more spendulus”. And my favorite, “PECAN – People for an Ethical Conservative American Nation”. I guess that was their response to ACORN.

Atlanta joined an estimated 1,000,000 people in 50 states across the US – all with the same message. On April 15, 2009, a diverse group of Americans stood up together to protest an increasingly oppressive federal government despite the efforts of some in the news media to divide everybody up. It was not about Republicans or Democrats or partisan politics. It was about an American public rising up to defend our Constitution and our liberties. Somewhere, Thomas Jefferson is smiling.

Spending Bill Passes but Nobody Read It

Did you know you just had $10,000 added to your family debt? The House and the Senate have passed their version of the Economic ‘Stimulus’ Plan which shifts over a trillion dollars to government control to spend on ‘creating jobs’ for Americans. But House GOP Leader John Boehner of Ohio warned, “With a price tag of more than $1 trillion when you factor in interest, it costs every family almost $10,000 in added debt. This is an act of generational theft that our children and grandchildren will be paying for far into the future.”

The bill is over 1,000 pages and is 8” thick. Not surprisingly, it’s been widely reported that your Senators and Congresspersons haven’t even read the bill. So a vote was taken and the bill was passed. Your money will be spent and the people you trusted to take care of us in government – don’t know what’s in the bill. They should be sued for malpractice.

Here are some select parts of the bill. Please take your blood pressure and heart medications before reading this: $200 million for the National Mall, including $21 million for sod , 32 new government programs at a cost of over $136 billion. That means more than a third of this plan’s spending provisions are dedicated to creating new government programs, $600 million for new cars for the federal government, $50 million in funding for the National Endowment of the Arts, and much, much more. Buried deep in the inner recesses of the bill are new socialist programs that will change America forever.

Somewhere around page 440, the bill shifts an additional 500,000 – 1,000,000 Americans into the socialized medical program further hastening the incremental march into a single provider medical system operated by the US government. Another particularly scary part of the ‘Stimulus’ bill is the establishment of a national medical database containing the personal medical records of every American. The government will have access to them 24/7. This reflects the handiwork of former Senator Tom Daschle (D) from South Dakota and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Daschle has a new vision of America’s health care problems. For seniors, it’s one step above taking a sick person out in the back forty and shooting him. Daschle said, “health-care reform will not be pain-free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them…” For all of you who think you’re getting a free lunch with socialized medicine, remember that nothing in this world is free. You’ll get ‘free’ health care that you pay for with your life.

What else is in the Economic DestroyUS Bill? You can be sure we’ll find out soon after President Obama signs it. We know it saddles our children with debt that will cost them dearly in standard of living. With US government debt costs of one billion dollars per day, this leads inevitably to more poverty, less jobs, and sharply higher cost of living. Add socialized medicine and you have a government that is spending this country into bankruptcy. In fact, a private business could never get away with the financial misbehavior the US government engages in daily. Write your Congressperson and Senator today. Ask them if they read the bill that was just passed.

Demand an answer.
