Spending Bill Passes but Nobody Read It

Did you know you just had $10,000 added to your family debt? The House and the Senate have passed their version of the Economic ‘Stimulus’ Plan which shifts over a trillion dollars to government control to spend on ‘creating jobs’ for Americans. But House GOP Leader John Boehner of Ohio warned, “With a price tag of more than $1 trillion when you factor in interest, it costs every family almost $10,000 in added debt. This is an act of generational theft that our children and grandchildren will be paying for far into the future.”

The bill is over 1,000 pages and is 8” thick. Not surprisingly, it’s been widely reported that your Senators and Congresspersons haven’t even read the bill. So a vote was taken and the bill was passed. Your money will be spent and the people you trusted to take care of us in government – don’t know what’s in the bill. They should be sued for malpractice.

Here are some select parts of the bill. Please take your blood pressure and heart medications before reading this: $200 million for the National Mall, including $21 million for sod , 32 new government programs at a cost of over $136 billion. That means more than a third of this plan’s spending provisions are dedicated to creating new government programs, $600 million for new cars for the federal government, $50 million in funding for the National Endowment of the Arts, and much, much more. Buried deep in the inner recesses of the bill are new socialist programs that will change America forever.

Somewhere around page 440, the bill shifts an additional 500,000 – 1,000,000 Americans into the socialized medical program further hastening the incremental march into a single provider medical system operated by the US government. Another particularly scary part of the ‘Stimulus’ bill is the establishment of a national medical database containing the personal medical records of every American. The government will have access to them 24/7. This reflects the handiwork of former Senator Tom Daschle (D) from South Dakota and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Daschle has a new vision of America’s health care problems. For seniors, it’s one step above taking a sick person out in the back forty and shooting him. Daschle said, “health-care reform will not be pain-free. Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them…” For all of you who think you’re getting a free lunch with socialized medicine, remember that nothing in this world is free. You’ll get ‘free’ health care that you pay for with your life.

What else is in the Economic DestroyUS Bill? You can be sure we’ll find out soon after President Obama signs it. We know it saddles our children with debt that will cost them dearly in standard of living. With US government debt costs of one billion dollars per day, this leads inevitably to more poverty, less jobs, and sharply higher cost of living. Add socialized medicine and you have a government that is spending this country into bankruptcy. In fact, a private business could never get away with the financial misbehavior the US government engages in daily. Write your Congressperson and Senator today. Ask them if they read the bill that was just passed.
